Another thing that you may want to consider when trying to lessen the pain that you are experiencing is sticking to a proper diet. The body needs the right types of nutrients in order to function at the best of its abilities, and a poor diet can contribute to the symptoms in a major way. Also, if you are overweight, you put yourself at risk for many other types of problems and you make it harder for your body to function properly. The pain that you are experiencing may be increased due to the added weight that your body has to accommodate for. As a general rule, if you are trying to keep a good diet that is helpful to your body, do your best to eat animal meats sparingly and concentrate on a diet that is rich with fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables contain many of the vitamins that our body needs on a daily basis, and are very low in fat. If you find that you can’t meet your dietary needs completely with the foods that you eat, consider supplementing your diet with a multi-vitamin to ensure that your body gets all that it needs to work at its strongest.
